defending freedom warrior weekend

Virtual Patron Foundation is excited to support the DEFENDING FREEDOM WARRIOR WEEKEND. Now in its ninth year, this amazing event seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns, and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.

Your donation will aid local and regional wounded veterans organizations in their mission to raise awareness of the needs of severely injured service men and women, help severely injured service members assist each other, and provide direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members.

Virtual Patron Found was honored to support a fundraiser for the Child Rescue Network. The president of CRN Jeff Griesmer came and spoke to the Aloha 2013 about prevention of sexual abuse, prevention tactics and techniques for parents and their children. Jeff helped us all get a better understanding of the problem and shared facts that expose how much work still needs to be done. He shared a number of heart warming success stories, discussed local education events and did a fabulous job raising awareness.

Attend Mass Now (AMN) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by the Virtual Patron Foundation. It is a lay-ministry for traveling Catholics. AMN provides a mini-mass prayer experience and distributes charitable contributions.

The AMN Mini-Mass provides a web-based and phone based Roman Catholic Mini-Mass to the public. It is not a video-taped or recorded mass, but is an interactive site that steps participants through a familiar sequence of prayers and activities. It is not a full mass nor does it satisfy the Church obligation for Sunday mass. It does include a method of collecting donations to be distributed to qualified charities.
